hayfalkboats stands for expert boatbuilding craftsmanship, individual solutions and a strong commitment to quality. Our roots lie on Lake Constance, while today we are based in Sweden and Austria. From these locations, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern working methods and undertake projects throughout Europe.

Our Story

Our founder Philipp has had a close connection to the water since childhood. From an early age, he knew he wanted to turn his passion into a profession.

He completed his boatbuilding apprenticeship on the Austrian shores of Lake Constance, where he secured one of the highly sought-after apprenticeship positions. There, he learned the craft from the ground up – from understanding materials and traditional construction techniques to skilled workmanship.

Philipp has been a Master Boatbuilder since 2009.

At the age of 32, he took over his first boatyard on Lake Constance together with a friend. Through high-quality craftsmanship, individual solutions and a consistent focus on customers’ needs, the boatyard became a well-established name in the region.

From Austria to Sweden

In 2020, Philipp and his family moved to Sweden.

There, he continued his work in boatbuilding and established a boatyard where kayaks, canoes and smaller recreational boats are now built.

The focus is on custom-built boats, carefully selected materials and handcrafted construction with meticulous attention to detail.
